Exhibition | Mediated Balancing | Tech For Life

Apr 26, 2026

One exhibition curated by Enza Migliore and Mirna Zordan opens for bringing Triennale Milano in Shenzhen

Exhibition | Mediated Balancing | Tech For Life

We’re excited to share that Triennale Milano in Shenzhen has officially opened, bringing ideas from one of the world’s most influential platforms for design and architecture into Shenzhen. As the only cultural institution officially recognized by the Bureau International des Expositions to organize international exhibitions every three years, Triennale Milano has long served as a key site for global conversations on design, society, and the future.

Curated by Enza Migliore and Mirna Zordan, Mediated Balancing: Tech For Life continues and expands the research and exhibition works developed for the 24th Triennale Milano. Presented in Shenzhen as part of Shenzhen Design Week 2026, the exhibition reinterprets those ideas through a local lens, exploring how design, science, and technology can work together around the conditions of life.

Through research data, papers, models, installations, videos, and multimedia works, the exhibition proposes a framework in which technology is understood not simply as a tool, but also as a mediator that reshapes how we inhabit the world. Centering on life as a core design concern, the exhibition opens up new ways of thinking about scientific, social, and economic development, while encouraging cross-cultural understanding and collaboration between Shenzhen and Milan.

We would like to thank the Triennale Milano support, endorsement, and presence throughout all this process! Thanks to Enza for being a spectacular partner and sharing this adventure with us making the impossible possible! Thanks to everyone for coming to the opening! And thanks to all that supported us! We look forward to seeing you again before the closing, stay tuned for updates! Come to visit if you are around!
