Future Spaces Vision Lab
Tools & Tech
We specialize in using sensors to measure physiological changes during interactions between individuals and the built environment. We use these analytical results to inform the design of improved architectural environments. We also visualize biological data to help individuals understand their internal states and support mental well-being.
The laboratory owns two 14-channel Emotiv EpocX EEG devices with a 256 Hz sampling rate. It also includes four Elastech respiratory belts and one Erylife S2 smartwatch that records HRV, EDA, and EMG. Additionally, we maintain many Arduino-based systems for physiological signal acquisition.
