Location: OCAT B10, Second Floor, Hall 4, North OCT Loft, Nanshan District, Shenzhen
Date: April 26 – May 18, 2026
Curator & Exhibitor: Enza Migliore and Mirna Zordan
As one of the key events of Shenzhen Design Week 2026, Mediated Balancing | Tech For Life puts life at the heart of design, and it frames technology as a mediator enriching and redefining the ways we inhabit the world. Building on the research and exhibited works developed by the curators from the School of Design at SUSTech for the 24th Milan Triennale, the exhibition recontextualizes Triennale concepts through localized translation and reinterpretation within the Shenzhen context.

UABB 2026
Beyond Words
Location: Hetao Technology Innovation Center, Shenzhen
Date: 2026. 1. 15-2026. 3. 31
Exhibitor: Mirna Zordan
Beyond Words is an interactive installation created by Arch. Dr. Mirna Zordan with Min Liu and Khaliun Ganbat from the Future Spaces Vision Lab, SUSTech School of Design. Presented at UABB 2026 in Shenzhen, the work reinterprets the telephone booth as a small-scale perceptual laboratory for exploring non-verbal, affect-based communication in contemporary cities. UABB 2026 has also been featured in ArchDaily.
The installation invites two participants into paired telephone booths equipped with heart-rate sensors. Their real-time cardiac activity is translated into a dynamic audiovisual environment, revealing how the “rhythms of the self” and the “rhythms of the other” merge, interfere, and co-generate a shared field of post-linguistic emotional resonance.

INVISIBILI / INVISIBLES 2025
PRESENCE MATTERS
Location: Sea World Culture and Arts Center, Shenzhen
Date: 2025. 6. 28-2025. 7. 24
Curator & Exhibitor: Mirna Zordan
The first solo exhibition of the Future Spaces Vision Lab, INVISIBLES, brings together selected works of the lab along with immersive, multi-sensorial interactions to confront visitors with the profound act of being present. Using technology as a medium to reveal the unseen — the interoceptive signals flowing from our bodies, brains, and hearts — the exhibition transforms hidden physiological data into tangible experiences at the intersection of design innovation and neuroscience.
Curated by Prof. Mirna Zordan together with students of the Future Spaces Vision Lab, INVISIBLES showcases student-led experiments alongside speculative research works that merge architecture, neuroscience, and interaction design. The exhibition invites audiences to experience presence as something that can be felt, modulated, and shared.

Triennale Milano 2025
MEDIATING ENVIRONMENTS
Location: Viale Alemagna 6, 20121, Milan
