The 19th International Architecture Exhibition, titled Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective., curated by Carlo Ratti and organised by La Biennale di Venezia. This year’s Exhibition, Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective., invites different types of intelligence to work together to rethink the built environment. 

​

Prof. Arch. Mirna Zordan and Arch. Freddy Curiél presented their work at the Arsenale venue, featuring the innovative project "BRAIN-STORM STREAMING". This project was developed with the support of students from the Future Spaces Vision Lab and LAPIS BUREAU. Our installation explores the impact of design on human perception and thoughts, creating bridges between neuroscience and architecture through biometric data visualization.

Triennale Milano organizes international exhibitions every three years, bringing together designers, architects, artists, and collectives to explore a central theme. The 2025 edition, titled "Inequalities," examines global disparities—economic, ethnic, geographic, and gender-based—through installations, exhibitions, and events. 

At the invitation of chief curator Prof. Yongqi Lou, SUSTech School of Design joins four leading Chinese institutions—Tongji University, Tsinghua University, and others—in the China Section of Triennale Milano 2025.

Future Space Vision Lab contributed to the theme of Mediated Balancing by Mediating Environments and represented three projects named Minus x Minus = Plus: A Stage for Stress Sharing”, Tell me Concrete Stories and RESPIRA 2.0.

Art Shenzhen, founded in 2013 as part of the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, became a contemporary art fair in 2015. It focuses on building a high-quality art market, promoting Shenzhen's contemporary art ecosystem, enhancing public aesthetics, and fostering regional art development. As the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area gains cultural influence, Art Shenzhen continues to champion the concept of "Global Vision, Quality Future," creating an innovative international art platform that reflects Shenzhen's urban diversity.

Future Spaces Vision Lab showcased four projects under "RESTORE," a series utilizing biometric data visualization technology to explore human-environment interactions, aiming to enhance mental well-being and stress management.​

The Twelfth International Symposium on Chinese CHI (Chinese CHI 2024), supported by the International Chinese Association for Computer Human Interaction (ICACHI), connects global HCI researchers and practitioners, promoting Human-Computer Interaction within the Chinese community. The theme of Chinese CHI 2024 is "Innovation · Creativity · Integration."

The BROKEN project by Future Spaces Vision Lab was showcased in the Art Gallery section, addressing stress management by enhancing self-efficacy and psychological resilience. â€‹BROKEN received the prestigious Rising Star Award at Chinese CHI 2024 for its innovative approach to stress management and public well-being.

The 2024 Shenzhen Design Week, organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the International Council of Design, focuses on "Design Makes Life Better." It includes a global "Design City" roundtable, the "Kunpeng Prize" ceremony, and various brand and sub-venue events. France, as the guest country, will showcase its design leadership.

Future Spaces Vision Lab’s Brain Visions project was showcased at this event. The project explores how high-density urban environments affect the brain using EEG technology, visualizing the impact of architectural stimuli on cognitive load and stress.​

"ACTIVATION PEBBLEBED 2024" is an Annual General Meeting (AGM) event organized by an entity named "Pebblebed." This event showcases engaging works from across the world.

​

Among the exhibits is "Brain Visions," a Future Spaces Vision Lab project. This interdisciplinary group, based at the SUSTech School of Design in Shenzhen, focuses on intangible human-environment interactions and their influence on stress levels, human perceptions, and brain activity. The project explores how high-density urban environments affect the brain using EEG technology, visualizing the impact of architectural stimuli on cognitive load and stress.​
