One Interactivity project accepted to DIS 2026 in Singapore 🫧🫧

Conference | DIS 2026

We’re excited to share that our project, Splash into Bubbles: Designing Somatic Immersion for Sleep Onset through Progressive Sensory Fading, has been accepted to the Interactivity program at DIS 2026 in Singapore.

Splash into Bubbles explores how physiological computing can support the transition into sleep through a more somatic and less cognitively demanding experience. Rather than adding more stimulation, the project is designed around progressive sensory fading: visual feedback first anchors attention to breathing, sound then gently surrounds the body, and finally whole-body pneumatic tactile feedback becomes the dominant modality as the other sensory layers gradually recede.

We’re very happy to bring this work to the DIS community. It continues our interest in physiological computing, embodied interaction, and technologies for care, while opening a new direction around sleep, sensory withdrawal, and somatic immersion. If you’ll be in Singapore, we’d love for you to stop by and experience it with us.
