Conference | AVI 2026

We’re excited to share that our paper, Visualizing Parametric Density through Three-dimensional Amplitude Spectrum Slopes in Urban Canyons, has been accepted to AVI 2026, the 18th International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces, which will take place in Venice, Italy, from June 8 to 12, 2026.

Our work presents a visualization system that computes amplitude spectrum slopes from street-level imagery and maps them back onto geographic coordinates as a three-dimensional parametric density visualization. By combining geospatial data, image-based spectral analysis, and web-based urban rendering, the system offers a new way to explore low-level visual structure in urban canyons at the city scale.

Moreover, we’re honored that Dr. Mirna Zordan has been invited to serve as Session Chair for Diverse Artefacts in Contexts on Wednesday, June 10, 14:30–16:00. We look forward to sharing this work in Venice and welcome anyone attending to connect and exchange ideas. We’re very happy to bring this work to the AVI community and look forward to sharing it in Venice. If you’ll be there, we’d be delighted to connect and exchange ideas 🙌 🙌 🙌
